While rendering animations, I find it really tiring to wait for half an hour or so just to render a one-minute-long animation.
I always render with the best quality (another factor that affects the total time), but the problem I face is determining the best frame rate.
I save the animation as single frames, then I import them in a video editor and export them as a video.
The frame rate affects both the time and the quality of the video (small frame rates cause the video to be bumpy).
So what is the best frame rate that doesn't take much time, but still gives me a perfect outcome?
By the way, I use SolidWorks 2016 for modeling & PhotoView 360 for rendering.
A smooth outcome starts with an fps of 24, no need to go higher than 30.
With PhotoView, you will also get good quality rendering in the lowest setting.
I never use the highest setting, the difference will be barely visible in the final video.
This would help you. I made this https://grabcad.com/library/geneva-mechanism-animation-3 based on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhSHeYT2U70
They seem to be smooth, but your opinion is still worth it.
