Two features in SOLIDWORKS. I was trying for one feature but it didn't work like I hoped. Maybe you'll think of an alternative solution.
Dimensions are not important, but the highlighted angle is critical if going for accuracy.
I am sure SW solution(Fred's and Yahya's) is the similar to the previous puzzle. You solution looks better. I will try to think this one out. :)
I hope you didn't "solve" this the way I think you solved it. Would this technique happen to involve any of the prohibited solutions (mirror part, derived part, imported part, folders...)?
Yeah, the stripes are an undesirable side effect. Good job getting the shape and the angles. That 45° almost caught me at the end. It was a picture I found online with the angle already circled. I would may not have double checked it otherwise.
I tried a few times for a single feature, but none of my plans worked.
Did you erase the lines from your screenshot after taking it?
If not, looks like there is another two-feature method I haven't thought of.
Yes. It looked terrible with all the lines, so I stuffed a view from a drawing into the challenge image. I think some lines/edges can be hidden in the part view, but I find it easier in the drawing mode.
Here's a legitimate screenshot. It has fewer lines, but I think we used the same basic approach.
