One of our suppliers has sent us a * .ol file. We cannot open it because we do not use Creo. Is there any way to convert this file to * .stp / *. X_t format?
What is a *.ol file? In 20 years of using Creo and Pro/ENGINEER, I've never used that format with Creo.
i did some research and found Creo help pages. *.ol files are used in Creo View.
i tried to do import/export but i can not open *.ol file on Creo Paremetric and export to *.stp /*.x_t
Interesting. I used to be a Windchill admin but never dealt with .ol as I never bothered to unzip a .pvz file and see what was inside.
Based on the Help, it sounds like an intermediate format. I don't know why your supplier would send you that. Part of the viewable generation process is to ensure that it is one way. You can send someone a .pvs or .pvz viewable file, but then they cannot reverse engineer actual CAD from those files.
