I tried the Only freecad tutorial and couldn't keep up ,since it was my first try at freecad. There was hyper-speed fast forward to shorten the video or keep redundancy down i believe.
Though I'm appreciative of the freecad video tutorial being made and thank the creator . To me it would better to place a hyper-speed restriction on Beginner tutorials.
"Traveling through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy! Without precise calculations we could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova, and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?"
Hi Mark,
To which tutorial are you referring.
There is a number of YouTube tutorials that you should be able to follow if that is where you source your tutorial material.
Try looking on Ha Gei's channel
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoe3BcVuLC9I2_yFud5vp8Q
and Jokoengineeringhelp channel (start with the sketcher tutorial)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-CubOaooNwC-3RBKUoAOQQ
There are several other excellent tutorials depending on your needs
Non-video from the FreeCAD website
https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Basic_Sketcher_Tutorial
More generally https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Tutorials
The FreeCAD wiki is an excellent source of a range of tutorials at various levels and for particular purposes
https://wiki.freecadweb.org/About_FreeCAD
Look down the list on the left hand side of the page for Tutorials and the documentation for each of the various work benches.
Cheers
Paul
im sorry ,it was my first try freecad ,im getting forgetful in my old age ,now i don't remember which tutorial i was doing. thanks for reminding me.
Mark K, when you search in YouTube what I enter is FreeCAD 0.21.2 (your freecad version) how can I create a spring ( brief description of the help you need, for example) and then you will get results for several providers. Your version is important because other versions may look different than what you are watching and as a beginner is frustrating. MangoJelly has a very large library to choose from and all the others already listed are excellent too!
