Hi guys,

I'm looking for a datasheet or 3D model for the Pan head M2.5 Self tapping screw type B. I don't know about the pitch of the screw. Do any one share me a datasheet or 3D model (.sldprt-if possible). That would very helpful.


Why I'm looking for this screw?

I'm trying to perform a Strength analysis of this screw. I'm looking for exact model.

I am sure that you can find all of the information that you need from a manufacturer of screws, or you can go to Mc Master Carr a national catalog online supplier and download a solid works model of the fastener as well as a blueprint. Or your own learning experience you could buy some and 2.5 self tapping screws type B's and reverse engineer it and make your own model. Paul Viola

is it regular steel or stainless? shear strength is different for each. You can also find the information in the Machinist Handbook.
