Looks good.
Two ideas:
This is not an attractive image. It is just an example.
Thank you for your feed back
the image you posted looks very good..
I published the model here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3014705
and here https://grabcad.com/library/apple-airpod-earphone-case-1
1.I placed the yellow marker, so the viewers can follow the cursor..
2.i have a rendered image of the model that i can use, but i used solidworks realview as a thumbnail
Excellent. Your rendering looks much better than my screenshot from a YouTube video.
Having a rendering will show people what they are about to learn, and also give them some motivation to make something that looks so nice.
The yellow dot on the cursor is not needed, unless you suspect most of the viewers are watching on a tiny screen like a phone. On a computer screen, it is very easy to follow the cursor since it is the only object moving.
All of the major tutorial sites (Pluralsight, Lynda, Udemy, Uartsy...etc) have gone away from "cursor effects" like highlights, blinking for clicks, or sounds effects.
It is your tutorial, so do anything you like. I just found the yellow dot blocked out much of the item being clicked. Maybe increase the transparency?
