Which manufacturers are there?

A suspended Monorail is very rare on this Planet. But there are different manufacturers of Ropeway Systems.

Suspended Monorails:

The sucsessfull System, based on the System "Safage" is build by MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) and works in 2 Cities, the Chiba Urban Monorail and the Shonan Monorail. This kind of suspended monorail is differend from the historic "System Langen" in Wuppertal.

Another System is the german "SIPEM" or "H-Bahn"

Russia build this kind of System too. It is named "Strela" and the hanging cars have an interesting design Some design studies are "modern" but expencive to build. So many curved surfaces. Nice but the cost?

The strongest one is China.

Modern hanging Cars and fine Design. The CRRC Corp. is always and everywhere. Many exelent joint venture partners they have. (SIPEM-System)

Japan

In tradition of "real" suspended monorail is the japan MHI-Group with the "Urban Flyer" and in future the "Crystal Flyer" (SAFEGE-System)

Russia

If some building projects in Russia will be realised the Morton-Group will be build the Morton "Arrow" ("Стрела") Monorail Trains. (SIPEM-System)

Canada

All these are urban systems. But a suspended monorail isn't usefull in cities only. Overland transports in bad weather conditions in several countries around the worls could be more reliable if using weather protectet "hanging rail". A new association of interested parties see the future in this segment of transportation. (SIPEM/SAFEGE or ?)

It must have a higher speed than the "standard" to be successful
