Converting a large DWG file in AutoCAD 2016 into a STEP file for Solidworks 2018

I have a large DWG assembly file with referenced parts inserted (using AutoCAD), these individual parts have created a 3D model.

I need to convert this DWG file into a STEP file so I can work on the model in Solidworks 2018.

Any answers are greatly appreciated.

The build-in export function (ACAD - Export - Step resp. command STEPOUT) does not satisfy?

You can use the workbench as a conversion tool.
Upload the DWG files and re-save them in STEP.

Otherwise, you could upload the files you need converted and i'm sure someone on the site can take care of it.
