Hello, does anyone know of a free cad program that can give you a X and Y point dimension based off your orgin in a single step?

It would be helpful for me at work to be able to print off a drawing with all X, Y locations of holes in the parts I am making in a single step. MasterCam did this but I don't have it available to me anymore.

What sort of file are you using which contains the point and origin features? The file format used will greatly restrict the program(s) which are free, and can open the file type.

Did MasterCAM do this in a single step? I find it hard to believe that program does anything in a single step :)

Check out DraftSight. It used to be free, maybe old versions still are? Even the "Pro" version is pretty cheap at $150.

I have no idea if it will do what you need, but for DXF files, it is usually the go to solution outside of AutoCAD.
DraftSight should have some sort of demo so you can give it a try.
