How can I create the shape of that picture?

I want to make the strip in that picture with catia.
But it doesn't work well because of that protruding part. What should I do?
Because I had to turn it into ANSIS later, the inside of the shape had to be filled in, so I drew lines using spline-line and filled it using surface think.

To create the strip with the protruding part in CATIA for later analysis in ANSYS:
Ensure the Geometry is Solid:
Using surfaces can cause issues when exporting to ANSYS. Instead, convert your design into a solid.
After completing the spline-based design, use the Thick Surface tool or create a Closed Surface and use Part Design > Pad to solidify the geometry.
Handle the Protrusion:
Split the Design: Create the main curved strip first without the protruding part.
Add the Protrusion Separately: Use a new sketch on the relevant face or plane. Use the Add > Pad command to add the protrusion.
Smooth Transition: Apply Fillet or Blend commands to smooth the junction between the strip and the protrusion.
Validate Thickness:
Ensure the strip has uniform thickness by applying the Thick Surface tool evenly across the geometry.
Ensure Compatibility with ANSYS:
Use the CATIA to ANSYS export format, such as STEP or IGES, to avoid issues.
Validate the model in ANSYS to ensure the geometry is recognized as a solid and meshing works seamlessly.
If the protrusion still causes trouble, sketch the protrusion and base together in one plane and sweep them simultaneously for a more integrated shape. Let me know if you'd like help with a specific step.
