How can I make a model of a portable x ray machine?

We have been assigned the work to make a 3D cad model of a portable x-ray machine, the issue is, we do not know from where to start.
We were not able to find any proper resource that could help us with this.
which part to consider first , which model to follow .
Any suggestions would be appriciated.
