How can I merge these two surfaces?

I´ve been trying to follow the tutorials below to merge the two surfaces but I can´t perform a complete surface by joining them using "merge command" on IMA module.

The CATIA Version I´m using it is V5R21

I´ve found the solution, the thing is that it seems "merge " command doesn´t work so good on CATIA Release 21, I had to install a newer version, in this case I installed "Catia V5-6 R2017 (R27)" and now it worked.
