How can I undo a split in Catia v5?
I deleted a section of a part for convenience of designing purposes using the split feature, but I need it back now. I can't attach it in an assembly either because it needs to be in the same part file.

Just delete the Split in the tree.
If you want to Split the part again in the future, Deactivate the Split (instead of Delete). Then just Activate it when you need it again.
