how do i convert a solidworks 3D into Autocad LT (2D)?
I use Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2018. I want to open a 3D drawing of a part (*.step file). Can I find 2D models in Grabcad?

Some people include 2D files with their GC models. But it's not very common. The only way I know to convert a 3D STEP file to 2D is to open it with something like Inventor or Fusion, create 2D views of it, then export to DWG or DXF.
If it's a rather simple file I would be happy to create some 2D views for you. Provide a link to the original STEP file and I'll see what I can do.
