how do I convert stp to stl

I was sent a STP file I need a STL file to output to my printer

STP can be opened in any cad tool like SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia. Then save as STL.

I am not sure about direct conversion. Search for converters. If available post here so others too shall make use of it.
