How do I make an acme threaded rod in Inventor?

Another option is to add ACME threads to the thread feature. It would be much less computation intense. However, I haven't had any success trying to edit the file, as most of the tutorials I have found are less than good. IF any one finds a good one please post a link
The simplest method would be to add an ACME tab to your "Thread" excel file that Inventor uses. Like their typical holes, you won't have an actual thread profile on your part but it will display it properly as a "finish". I've done this with 1"-5 ACME thread.
