how to Convert .sldasm file into .step File ?

I am using a Cloud Based Software "Onshape". And I am Unable to Open a .SLDASM file there. So is there any chance that i can convert it into .step format ?

    Hi Trinityscsp, Thanks for responce. I do have individual parts in .sldprt format. i tried by 1)importing parts first and then assembly, and even all at a time. it didn't worked at all.

Open the .sldasm file in Solidworks - go to "save as" option - locate the file directory - below "file name" you'll see option "save as type" - change the type to stp or step - SAVE
