How to create a user defined cross section for solidworks
In assembly environment after the complete assembly I want to take cross section along user defined plane.
I am using solidworks 2013. How is it possible?

You can use 'Section view' and then select Zonal selection.
Plug in the cross section planes you want to cut out or show and you'll see the model react. I am unsure if this function is available in SW13. The image is from SW17
