How to import CATIAV5 R19 solid models in APDL?
I have Ansys 12 installed. I tried to import from catia v5r19 solid part design in APDL.
However there is no response.
Trying to convert igs file and then importing it. it works only for surface analysis.
But for solids it fails. Kindly help.

You should export it as ACIS/SAT.
If i understand right, you're triying to immport some model to ANSYS in order to make some FEA, I'm using ASNSYS 15 and my CAD software is solidworks 2014, when i wannt to make some FEA i save the part in parasolid(x_t) file and then open it on ANSYS
