Is there a way to scale a solidworks assembly/ part?

Ryan: you can save an Assembly as a Part file, combine the body, then scale away.
Or
Insert a new Part file in the Assembly and then while editing that Part file use the Join feature to creat a fused body, then scale in that new Part file.
I dont see a way to scale an assembly.
You can scale a part (smaller or larger) and it will show on the tree as a feature.
You can scale a sketch (smaller or larger) with Tools, sketch tools, scale entities. Sketch scale does not show as a feature that you can edit but you can always re-scale it. Also I like to delete sketch dimensions because it will hold them and scale around the dim, if that makes sense.

If you want to show up your model only for the appearance, This will be work, You save the Assembly into part and scale it up or down

for assembly: i saved as part file drag selected everything (large ass took from GC, no featureworks ran), and scaled about origin rather than centroid. worked like a charm

How can we maintain some features like holes and cuts same as the original and in its scale model,if we scale to 1:2 ratio?
