solidworks external reference question
is there a way to make solidworks search for your assemblies external references to a single folder your assembly is located in rather than it searching your whole computer?

Well, if you had the outside references in the same folder as your assembly, it should recognize them and bring them into Solid works. I haven't had this problem yet, i hope this is of help.
