unable to open catia part file?
whenever i try to open it says "invalid data structure"

It is may due to any one following reasons:
change the name (remove .19)
may be improper saving.
The file you are trying to open is created in what CATIA release? R19, R20...?
What CATIA release are you using?
If part is created in, lets say, CATIA V5R20, and you are using CATIA V5R19, then I'm afraid you cannot open that CATPart.
