What SOLIDWORKS macros do you use in your daily work?
Share the macros you use, maybe someone will find it useful. Below is a list of the macros I use:
1. Batch export sheet metal flat patterns to DXF from the assembly. Run this macro in the assembly with sub-assemblies and parts resolved.
2. Batch save drawing as PDF - specify the folder with drawings and all work will be done for you.
3. Color Changer - run this macro in part and get a random color.
4. Save configs as parts - saves all part configurations to individual part files with custom properties.
5. Save as PDF (STEP, Parasolid, STL etc.) - run this macro in a part or drawing environment. Modify this macro to suit your needs by specifying the format in which you should save your active file.
