Which mechanical components tend to stand out the most when modeled?

I want to start growing my profile here on GrabCAD, and for that, I need to create a library of original models to showcase and attract attention. Which mechanical components should I model, and which ones tend to draw the most interest?

Do you want to attract attention or produce something that can actually be used?

The models that stand out are ultra detailed with complete threads on screws and such. However, these are the worst models to actually use. They take up too much memory and rendering time. They are often times difficult to constrain to other parts because of extraneous details. In a large assembly, the details in an ultra-detailed model get lost anyway, so there’s no point in it. The best models are dimensionally accurate without being overly detailed.

From a cost standpoint, if a person is being paid to produce these models, then the time spent producing an ultra-detailed model is money wasted.

I know this doesn’t directly answer your question about what to model but I hope it helps you decide how to model.
