Why do Solid Edge And Solid works never use an Excel sheet to drive their models?

In SolidWorks Excel spreadshets can be used to make multiple configurations from within a single part. Attached is a tutorial for a making configurations of a Socket for tightening or opening Hexagonal Headed. threaded fasteners.

SolidEdge is More Capable to Works with Excel then Solidworks...With its Sy.Technology

Thanks for the workout. I've already done this for a Syphon duct of a preheater (Cement Plant) in solid edge. I had two variables at either ends.
I was just wondering why people don't make use of this method. I've yet to see this kind of arrangement on Grabcad.
