Exotic Flower

Tutorial done a long time ago!.
Playing with surfaces to make something nice.
Just for fun and practice.
Probably this is for expert guys, but I think intermediate fellows can do this easily.
Enjoy!
-
Step 1: First Sketches, Planes & Surfaces
Well, here we go!
Remember that: FP means Front Plane, PM for Property Manager, FMDT means Feature Manager Desing Tree, SK for Sketches, and so on....
Have fun!
First we are going to need an Auxiliary Surface...
-
Step 2: Cutting Auxiliary Surface
Also we are going to pattern...
-
Step 3: Sketching the Petals Wrinkles
The spline contour does not have to be "exact", is a free form, but don't overdo as it may have unexpected results.
-
Step 4: New Partial Petal
-
Step 5: Completing Petal
The 3DSketch point is important!
-
Step 6: Cutting out the side of petal
-
Step 7: Refining the Petal
-
Step 8: Creating the final Pattern
-
Step 9: Modeling the Stem
-
Step 10: Modeling the Pistils
But first extend the last surface.
-
Step 11: Center Pistil. Another one
-
Step 12: Modeling the Leaves
For the next step we need to use four views...
Remember that these are free form Splines. Do not overdo.
-
Step 13: Flexing the Tip of the Leaf
-
Step 14: Moving (Adjusting) the Leaf
-
Step 15: FLower Done?
Well, not so!...
-
Step 16: Adding a Water Drop
-
Step 17: Final Step
Just render to your liking!
-
Step 18: Final Words.
Thanks for following this tutorial.
Really hope to be of help.
Learning is a continuous process, it never stops.
See you soon!.
