Exotic Flower

Tutorial done a long time ago!.
Playing with surfaces to make something nice.
Just for fun and practice.

Probably this is for expert guys, but I think intermediate fellows can do this easily.

Enjoy!

  1. Step 1: First Sketches, Planes & Surfaces

    Well, here we go!

Remember that: FP means Front Plane, PM for Property Manager, FMDT means Feature Manager Desing Tree, SK for Sketches, and so on....

    Have fun!

First we are going to need an Auxiliary Surface...

  2. Step 2: Cutting Auxiliary Surface

Also we are going to pattern...

  3. Step 3: Sketching the Petals Wrinkles

The spline contour does not have to be "exact", is a free form, but don't overdo as it may have unexpected results.

  4. Step 4: New Partial Petal

  5. Step 5: Completing Petal

    The 3DSketch point is important!

  6. Step 6: Cutting out the side of petal

  7. Step 7: Refining the Petal

  8. Step 8: Creating the final Pattern

  9. Step 9: Modeling the Stem

  10. Step 10: Modeling the Pistils

But first extend the last surface.

  11. Step 11: Center Pistil. Another one

  12. Step 12: Modeling the Leaves

For the next step we need to use four views...

Remember that these are free form Splines. Do not overdo.

  13. Step 13: Flexing the Tip of the Leaf

  14. Step 14: Moving (Adjusting) the Leaf

  15. Step 15: FLower Done?

    Well, not so!...

  16. Step 16: Adding a Water Drop

  17. Step 17: Final Step

    Just render to your liking!

  18. Step 18: Final Words.

    Thanks for following this tutorial.

Really hope to be of help.

Learning is a continuous process, it never stops.

    See you soon!.
