Solidwork Resource Monitor


When starting Solidworks on your PC, you may encounter message pop-up that asks to check your system OR run diagnostics.
It comes basically from windows settings

Step 1: Disable Add-Ins currently not in use.
When starting Solidworks first time all license included add-ins are loading automatically. Please disable any add-ins you don't need on a daily basis. Each add-on slows down SolidWorks loading time and also loads into RAM.

Step 2: Adjust number of GDI-Objects in the system
GDI (Graphics Device Interface) objects are an important component in Windows that SolidWorks uses to display graphical elements in its user interface.
You may need admin rights in your Windows system to be able to modify these values in the registry:
