1. Step 1:

   Before

   After
   

   

3. Step 3:

   1. Right click on part
   2. Go to 'Edit'
   

   

4. Step 4:

   1. Click on 'Copy Object'
   2. Select the shaft
   3. make sure 'Body', 'Composit' and 'Associative' are all selected
   4. Click 'OK'
   

   

5. Step 5:

   1. Select 'Sculpt Too'
   2. Select 'Surface'
   3. Select 'Shaft'
   4. Select 'Cut'
   5. Drop down menu
   6. Select 'Second'
   7. Click 'OK'
   

   

6. Step 6:

   1. Select 'Delete Face'
   2. Select 'First Icon'
   3. Select 'Face'
   4. Click 'OK'
   

   

7. Step 7:

   1. Click 'Return'
   

   

8. Step 8:

   1. Before you move your shaft
   

   

9. Step 9:

   1. After you move your shaft to any positing the cut will always follow your shaft
