July 2020 - August 2020
Joining the RnD team, I participated in developing an eddy current dyno test machine. The design consists of 2 machine body parts (2000 x 800 x 200 mm and 1350 x 765 x 200 mm), a controller box (1200 x 800 x 550 mm), and several others. I conducted the structural analysis using the dyno test engine parts' Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method. The development included improvements to the rollers, rotor, and stator and adding a loading control system, temperature monitoring, engine cooling system, and safety system.
Knowledge gained:
1. I learned firsthand the engineering design process in the product development process at the company.
2. Simulated the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method on several parts of the eddy current dyno test machine.
3. Knowing a company's workflow or business process, starting from Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Process Flow, Business Process Workflow, Work Process, and Operational Flow.
