My role at RA is very similar to my previous company, but here I am fortunate to also have the time to carry out analysis and verify my work with hand calculations.

Primary design engineer. Majority of my work was designing power and process piping for new/existing boiler plant. This included all supports, support structures, access platforms and other mechanical equipment in the plant, such as fuel handing chutes, conveyors and exhaust flues. I would work on the a project from compiling and designing the process design to detailing all drawings for manufacturing and specifying piping equipment such as valves, instruments and safety devices.

Currently I’m looking for permanent work in NZ in the field of mechanical engineering or product design. My strength is in SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD as well as EdgeCAM.
