Emin Kabakcı

My role is to design necessary test devices and fixtures for production using Siemens NX software and to oversee their implementation. Additionally, I ensure that operations run smoothly by finding solutions to problems encountered in production. In short, I use my design and problem-solving skills to increase the efficiency and quality of production.

As a student project leader, our project titled “The Use of Waste PET Bottles for Coating Rebars” was carried out with the support of TÜBİTAK and completed as a graduation project.

On the Düzce University Racing Team, we designed and manufactured a Formula SAE race car. As the Design Captain, I took an active role in leadership and design. This process significantly developed my project management and engineering design skills.

I have gained hands-on experience in machine design, structural analysis, and the complete design-to-manufacturing process by using engineering software such as SolidWorks and ANSYS.

As part of the MEKATEK student community, we designed and developed an electric vehicle to compete in the TEKNOFEST Robotaxi - Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition. In 2022, we qualified to compete as a finalist, and in 2023, we earned the 3rd place award in Turkey.

By observing machining and welding applications on-site, I have gained practical knowledge and technical awareness regarding the applicability of manufacturing methods in machine design.
