Printing trasparent (not just translucent) seems possible and at hand (lots of sanding in the post processing involved)

We have several transparent parts that we have printed on our J750 here in the office. The coolest one I think is the tail light for an Audi I've included a picture of it with the light shining through and a link to the article here!

that is translucent, transparent is the glass of a window that you look out in the street and can see all details through. But you can make it transparent too, if you do it right.
