Ethernet Smoothstepper CNC Motion Controller

The Ethernet Smoothstepper (ESS) CNC motion controller is manufactured by Warp 9 Tech Design (http://www.warp9td.com/). It connects to a PC via an on-board ethernet port. The ESS has 3 output ports utilizing 26-pin IDC connectors. Adapter cables can be purchased to convert the 26-pin IDC to DB-25, commonly used on many CNC breakout boards and stepper motor drivers.

The ESS replaces the older method of connecting to CNC motion control and stepper driver devices via a parallel port by creating signals designed to mimic a parallel port. The ESS is capable of the following specifications:

Maximum Step Frequency = 4 MHz

6-axis coordinated motion

Spindle control via step & direction, PWM, or discrete on/off

Up to 24 signal outputs and 16 inputs, or vice versa.

Model contains components (IDC connectors, pluggable terminal connectors) downloaded from manufacturer websites. Onboard Ethernet port model by Muhammad furqan (rj45). Dimensionally accurate for mounting and routing of cables.
