The caliper is a measuring instrument whose accuracy can reach one hundredth of a millimeter. Consists of two parts, the stationary part and the movable part. The reading of measurement results is very dependent on the expertise and accuracy of the user and the tool.

Jangka sorong adalah alat ukur yang ketelitiannya dapat mencapai seperseratus milimeter. Terdiri dari dua bagian, bagian diam dan bagian bergerak. Pembacaan hasil pengukuran sangat bergantung pada keahlian dan ketelitian pengguna maupun alat.
