 Define recommended welding spare parts.  Develop and maintain weld parameter/setup sheets.  Support and lead new line launch verification projects.  Work with Maintenance and destruct staff to maintain and improve weld quality.  Support in driving standardization across the following joining processes in manufacturing: (GMAW / GTAW / SMAW)  Developing training documentation on the above joining processes in relationship to quality requirements of the customer.  Update weld programs to meet required specifications.  Designing weld related process tooling  Ensure incoming work has appropriate PQRs, WPSs, qualified welders, and sufficient filler materials.  Plan and oversee the process of performing PQRs and WPQs as well as create and maintain supporting documentation.  Working with Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) and QAM

 Trouble shoot welding (GMAW, GTAW , SMAW) issue on production tooling.  Develop welding schedules for (GMAW, GTAW , SMAW) on ferrous and nonferrous material.  Participate in design reviews for upcoming new projects.  Develops and writes work instructions as they pertain to different welding and inspection operations  Conduct contract weld engineering reviews and identify weld engineering, diffusion bonding and metallurgical requirements.  Liaise with customers, engineers and project managers on metal joining and metallurgical matters.  Ensure that customers metal joining requirements are met and if required raise and justify technical exceptions.  Manage the generation of operational and development documentation related to joining processes. PQR’s WPS and development documents.  Provide effective liaison project managers and internal departments with regards to welding engineering, diffusion bonding, metallurgy and failure mechanism
